About Me
Liz has been reading nutrition labels since she could read. As a child with food allergies she’s always been conscious of what she’s eating. Her interest in nutrition grew when she decided to adopt a vegetarian diet in high school. Through college she found a true love for nutrition, health, and wellness teaching group fitness classes and pursuing a career in nutrition.
Liz’s training in Medical Nutrition Therapy supports clients with a variety of conditions and concerns, as well as those who are here to focus on disease prevention and wellness. Liz has extensive experience with intuitive eating, disordered eating, pre- and post-natal nutrition, sports nutrition, plant-based eating, food allergies, and overall wellness.
Liz believes that all people deserve the nutritional care they need, and practices with a HAES informed approach. She understands the struggle that comes with trying to figure out what is best for you. She believes we are all unique and so are our needs, which means we each deserve so much more than a one-size-fits-all approach to nutrition.
Liz graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences from Penn State University and completed her Master’s Degree in Applied Nutrition at Northeastern University. Liz enjoys teaching cycling classes, spending time outdoors, cooking and baking, and spending time with her husband, baby girl, and bernedoodle.
