About
Dr. Loren Chudler's interest in metabolic health began with personal experience. Having navigated my own metabolic challenges, along with a family history of the same, I've gained firsthand insight into how frustrating and confusing this journey can be for patients. That experience gave me a deep, personal understanding of what it takes to make lasting change, and it's what drives my clinical approach today: practical, evidence-based, and grounded in real empathy for what patients are experiencing.
As a board-certified family medicine physician (American Board of Family Medicine) with over 28 years of clinical experience, I support patients with weight loss, metabolic health, and cardiovascular risk management, including lipid and blood pressure control. I have particular expertise in GLP-1 therapy, and I pair medical treatment with a nutrition program tailored by our dietitian, because sustainable results require both.
I believe patients deserve care that meets them where they are, not a one-size-fits-all protocol. I take time to listen, explain the science behind every recommendation, and adjust treatment to fit each patient's physiology, history, and goals.
I earned my medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed my family medicine residency through the St. Lawrence/Sparrow Hospital/MSU program.
Outside of clinical practice, I enjoy bike riding, traveling, and spending time with family.
