About Me
Lori’s interest in nutrition started as a child when she’d visit her grandparents’ enormous garden. Her grandmother would tell her all about the plants and how each one helped our health. Later, she would go on to study biology at the University of Colorado, where she stumbled across an elective Nutrition and Biochemistry course that would forever change her career trajectory. Lori went on to get a Master of Science in Nutrition degree at San Diego State University while also pursuing the didactic program to become a Registered Dietitian. After completing her dietetic internship at Tulane University, she began her clinical career.
Through the past 15 years, Lori has developed an expert understanding of medical nutrition therapy (MNT). She is particularly passionate about helping clients with complex medical concerns like obesity, diabetes, and metabolic diseases. More recently she completed a Certificate of Training in Obesity in Pediatrics and Adults through the Commission on Dietetic Registration. She also has taken a particular interest in cardiovascular health. Lori has taught Cardiac Rehabilitation classes and worked closely with patients after a cardiac event for a significant part of her career. Lori believes that everyone deserves to feel their best and she is there to optimize her client’s nutrition every step of the way.
When she’s not working, Lori enjoys devouring health-based podcasts while walking Lexi the Goldendoodle, lifting heavy weights and spending time with her two boys in sunny Colorado.
