About Me

Nutrition played an influential role in Lotta's own recovery from depression, disordered eating, and metabolic conditions, including high cholesterol and prediabetes. Lotta knew there was more to treatment than only taking pills to treat the symptoms, and was able to reverse her diagnoses by working with a treatment team to address the root causes and improve her nutrition, stress, sleep, and physical activity. Lotta's experience highlighted the significant impact of personalized one-on-one counseling on making long-lasting behavior change, and she decided to become a Registered Dietitian to support others in their own journeys.

Lotta strongly believes that proper nutrition is the foundation for a healthy lifestyle, incorporating joyful movement, stress management, adequate sleep, social engagement, a sense of purpose, and self-expression. She works with clients to cultivate a healthy relationship with food and body and discover how nutrition can support mental and physical health. Lotta's goal is to help clients understand the factors contributing to their symptoms or condition, and develop self-confidence in their ability to sustain health-promoting behaviors that work within their budget, time constraints, ability, and preferences.

Lotta graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Nutrition, Healthspan, and Longevity. She completed over 1000 hours of supervised practice in the areas of clinical nutrition, sports nutrition, culinary medicine, and corporate wellness. Lotta received additional training through the Institute for Functional Medicine and integrates functional medicine principles in her approach to nutrition.
