About Me
Louisa's interest in nutrition started at a young age when she learned firsthand about the importance of food to fuel athletic training. A lifelong athlete, she grew up in a vegetarian household, so she was aware early on of how important it is to be mindful about nutrition. Louisa’s training in Medical Nutrition Therapy can support clients with a variety of needs such as nutrition for diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and anti-inflammatory nutrition. She also specializes in mindful eating and disease prevention/wellness. Louisa has additional passion for vegan and vegetarian nutrition due to her personal experience. Louisa believes strongly that all people deserve nutritional care and practices with a HAES-informed approach. She is grateful for the opportunity to honor each individual patient's unique lived experience and cultural practices around food. She especially loves helping her patients enjoy the foods they love the most in a way that works for them.
Louisa completed her nutrition degree at Simmons College and completed her dietetic internship at Simmons as well. Louisa enjoys rock climbing, weight lifting, hiking, running, going to the beach, traveling, and spending time with her family.
