Hi, I’m Mandy Birkbeck, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with a Master’s in Dietetics from Eastern Michigan University. My journey into nutrition began as a second career, inspired by my passion for helping people heal through healthier food choices. Having been plant-based for over 20 years, I understand how powerful food can be in transforming our health and well-being.
I thrive on working with individuals who need a safe space to explore their relationship with food, whether they are facing a new diagnosis, struggling with weight challenges, or simply trying to find balance in a hectic life. My goal is to walk alongside you, offering support and encouragement every step of the way.
My specialties include plant-based nutrition, intuitive eating and weight loss. I believe that nutrition should be enjoyable and sustainable, not restrictive or stressful. In our early sessions, we’ll focus on understanding your unique needs and goals, allowing us to create a personalized plan that works for you. Over time, you can expect to gain confidence in your food choices and clarity on what truly nourishes your body and mind.
I take an empathetic and supportive approach, using evidence-based practices to guide my clients toward making informed decisions that align with their values and lifestyle. When I’m not working, you can find me enjoying time with my family, hiking, skiing, or knitting while indulging in a little pig tummy rubbing! I look forward to helping you on your journey to a healthier, happier you.
