About
Margot is a Registered Dietitian with over a decade of experience providing Medical Nutrition Therapy across a wide range of healthcare settings. She has worked in both public and private sectors, supporting adults with concerns related to diabetes, kidney disease and dialysis, cancer, disordered eating, weight management, food insecurity, and mental health, as well as providing care in ICU, geriatric, and substance use treatment settings.
Her counseling style is shame-free, weight-inclusive, and deeply personalized. Margot believes nutrition should support both physical and mental well-being, not add stress or guilt. She takes a food-first, evidence-based approach and works collaboratively with clients to create realistic, sustainable strategies that fit their lives, preferences, and access to food.
Margot is also a strong advocate for food security and community outreach. Her professional work includes developing a food-security–focused nutrition education program for Veterans in substance-use recovery, which was recognized as a “Best Practice” at the 2024 National Veterans Food Security Summit, where she served as a guest speaker.
