About
Megan Pfiffner, MS, CNS, CDN, is a functional nutritionist whose practice is dedicated to women's health, with a specialized focus on perimenopause and metabolic health. She earned her Master's degree in Human Nutrition, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of Bridgeport, and completed advanced training and supervision through Dr. Kara Fitzgerald's Functional Nutrition Residency Program, supporting the nutrition team on complex, interdisciplinary cases.
Megan takes a whole-person, root-cause approach to care, looking at how hormonal shifts, metabolic changes, gut health, and stress load intersect rather than treating each symptom in isolation. She created The Perimenopause Matrix™, a six-pillar clinical framework addressing the hormonal, metabolic, and lifestyle factors that shape perimenopause: fuel, movement, recharge, regulate, connection, and clean.
She regularly collaborates with functional medicine physicians and prescribing providers to deliver coordinated nutrition support for patients navigating complex hormonal and metabolic care, including patients using GLP-1 and hormone therapies. Megan is also the host of Mornings with Megan, a weekly podcast exploring perimenopause through nutrition, movement, hormone health, sleep, and stress.
