About Me

Megan grew up in Michigan with a passion for food, cooking, and nutrition, and made it her career mission to share that passion with others as a Registered Dietitian. Megan earned her Master’s of Public Health in Nutritional Sciences with a focus in Maternal and Child Nutrition at the University of Michigan School of Public Health, where she also completed her dietetic internship. Although she graduated several years ago, she likes to think of herself as a perpetual student as she is always keeping herself educated on newest research and best practices. Although born and raised in Michigan, Megan and her husband moved to Miami to get some sunshine. Megan is now a Miami-based Registered Dietitian licensed in Florida, with several years of clinical inpatient and outpatient experience working primarily with pediatrics and young adults.

Megan’s favorite part of being a dietitian is working with individuals and families to set goals and develop realistic means of achieving them. She loves to teach her patients not just the “how,” but the “why.” Her background in public health helps her understand the many factors that contribute to someone’s nutrition choices.

Megan works closely with individuals with chronic conditions such as diabetes and kidney disease, as well as those who are interested in weight management, balanced diets, improving selective eating and feeding behaviors, and more. While she personalizes her care to help people achieve their individual goals, Megan always has the same overarching mission with everyone she works with: to help people of all ages develop long-lasting healthy relationships with food, no matter where they are starting from.
