About

I Master of Science in Medical Nutrition from Arizona State University, Bachelor of Science in Nutrition & Dietetics from California Polytechnic University Pomona, AOS Culinary Arts from Le Cordon Bleu-Pasadena.

Struggling to turn your health goals into reality? As one of only 45 dietitians in the country trained in the Dietitian Coach Approach, Melannnie will guide you through 12 weekly sessions of habit-building with less stress and more fun. Together, you'll create personalized, lasting changes—no guilt, no overwhelm, just real, enjoyable progress.

Do you ever feel like you know what you should be doing for your health, but you just can’t seem to make it happen? It’s frustrating, I get it. Many people struggle to bridge that gap between knowing and doing—especially with all the conflicting nutrition advice out there.

That’s where I come in. As one of only 45 dietitians in the country trained in the Dietitian Coach Approach, I work with you to make lasting, realistic changes. Over 12 weeks of weekly sessions, we’ll focus on building habits that actually feel good—no more stressing over willpower or feeling like you’re fighting yourself. I’m here as your “guide on the side,” helping you experiment, navigate the noise, and discover what works best for you.

Clients love the personalized, non-judgmental vibe of our sessions—it’s more like a partnership than a typical “diet plan.” Together, we’ll focus on what matters most to you, whether that’s feeling more energized, ditching diet confusion, or finally sticking to healthy habits without the stress. The best part? It’s exciting and fun!

If you’re ready to stop spinning your wheels and start making real progress on your wellness goals, let’s work together. I’ll help you get clear on your vision and give you the tools to make it happen—no guilt, no overwhelm, just real change. Before you go, here are a few things about me: I enjoy cooking, listening to music, attending concerts, hiking, lifting weights, exploring new foods, traveling with my dog, and visiting national parks.

I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and chef with nearly twenty years of experience in the culinary world. Living with diabetes, thyroid disease, early menopause, and other chronic conditions has given me firsthand insight into the daily challenges of managing health. Because of this, I am deeply passionate about helping others feel empowered, nourished, and genuinely excited about food again.

My approach to care is compassionate, evidence based, and highly individualized. I focus on empowerment rather than restriction, creating sustainable nutrition strategies that fit your lifestyle, preferences, and goals. Together, we prioritize meaningful progress, consistency, and lasting change while keeping flavor, enjoyment, and satisfaction central to your health journey.

During your first session, we take time to get to know each other. I will ask about your health history, lifestyle, eating habits, and goals so we can build a plan that truly aligns with your needs. Sessions are supportive and judgment free, designed to ensure you feel heard and understood. You will leave with clear next steps, practical strategies, and a plan that feels realistic and manageable. If you do not see a time that fits your schedule, please reach out so we can discuss availability.

Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, listening to music, attending concerts, hiking, lifting weights, exploring new foods, traveling with my dog, and visiting national parks.
