About
Ola's path to nutrition was lit by years spent inside the world of competitive and professional figure skating, where she witnessed the damage that diet culture inflicts on athletes' bodies, performance, and sense of self. That experience, coupled with watching loved ones struggle with disease amid conflicting nutrition advice, led her back to school to earn a Master of Science in Nutrition from the University of Illinois Chicago and become a Registered Dietitian. She knew that food is a powerful tool that could not only help us heal, but help us truly thrive.
Her clinical background spans weight management, diabetes care, pediatrics, and women's health. A years-long fellowship in motivational interviewing and health coaching reflects her belief that science alone doesn't change lives, though she absolutely loves digging into it. When people are guided to become more introspective, more honest with themselves, and more connected to their own "why," real and lasting change becomes possible. That is the work Ola finds most meaningful: helping clients move from external rules to internal wisdom. She works with a wide range of people: the athlete who wants to perform better while also setting themselves up for long-term health, the working mom who wants to gain confidence in herself while also modeling a healthy relationship with food for her daughter, and the person ready to fine-tune their lifestyle to finally lose weight and manage their health conditions. What they all share is a readiness to stop white-knuckling their way through nutrition and start building something sustainable. Guided by curiosity, honesty, and a deep belief that food is both medicine and joy, Ola practices with a whole-person approach that is as warm and encouraging as it is clinically grounded. When she is not seeing clients or deep in a research rabbit hole, you can find her on her yoga mat, learning salsa, walking along Lake Michigan, or hunting down Chicago's best taco — no pets yet, but she absolutely adores dogs.
