About Me

Rachel's interest in nutrition and eating disorder treatment started as a dietetic intern at a treatment center. There, she worked with adults with a variety of eating disorder diagnoses in a high level of care and saw how transformative recovery truly was. Rachel went on to work in residential eating disorder treatment for 4 years but also has experience in outpatient and hospital settings. Since eating disorders do not occur alone, Rachel also has experience treating those with substance abuse, mental health concerns like anxiety, depression, and OCD, as well as medical concerns such as diabetes, autoimmune conditions, and gastrointestinal disease.

Rachel believes that all people deserve nutritional care and practices with an "all foods fit" and health at every size approach. She feels passionate about helping clients achieve their own individual path to food freedom.

Rachel graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and completed her dietetic internship at Iowa State University where she is currently pursuing her Masters degree. Rachel is also in the process of becoming a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist.

Rachel enjoys spending time in nature, reading a good book, or hanging out at home with her three cats.
