About
Rachel Kelley is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a passion for helping patients improve their health through compassionate, evidence-based care. Her clinical background includes primary care, urgent care, emergency medicine, telehealth, and care for underserved communities. She has extensive experience supporting patients with weight concerns, high blood pressure, prediabetes, type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, and other conditions that can affect metabolic health.
Rachel understands that weight is influenced by much more than willpower alone. She takes time to listen to each patient’s experiences, challenges, medical history, and personal goals before developing a realistic treatment plan. Her approach may include GLP-1 medication when clinically appropriate, nutrition education, lifestyle changes, and ongoing monitoring. She believes patients deserve clear explanations, practical recommendations, and a supportive environment free from shame or judgment.
Rachel especially enjoys helping patients make changes that feel sustainable in real life rather than relying on overly restrictive plans or temporary solutions. Her goal is to help each person better understand their health, feel confident in their treatment decisions, and make steady progress toward improved energy, mobility, confidence, and long-term wellness.
Rachel earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Georgia State University and is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She also has a background as a registered nurse and paramedic, which has shaped her thorough, clinically focused, and patient-centered approach.
Outside of work, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, traveling, cooking, and finding practical ways to make nutritious meals enjoyable and approachable.
