About Me
Rachel Otis, MS, RDN, LD/N, specializes in helping clients with type 2 diabetes, prediabetes, and weight management build sustainable, personalized habits—free from guilt and confusion. Her relationship-centered coaching is rooted in science and focused on lasting behavior change.
Rachel works with clients through a 12-session framework designed to support real progress over time—not quick fixes. Her approach emphasizes practical strategies that build confidence and long-term success.
With a background in communications and a Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics, Rachel brings a unique blend of clinical knowledge and strong communication skills to her work. Before launching her private practice, she supported adults with blood sugar management and gained experience in both nonprofit and corporate marketing. She also contributed to community nutrition efforts, including mobile pantry outreach serving food-insecure and culturally diverse populations.
As one of only 45 U.S. dietitians trained in the evidence-based Dietitian Coach Approach, Rachel helps clients tap into their strengths and create healthy routines that stick.
Outside of work, she enjoys running to a good podcast, planning family travel, and testing new recipes with her three kids in the kitchen. Whether someone’s goal is as big as training for a marathon or as simple as building better daily habits, Rachel is honored to serve as a supportive guide along the way.
