About

Hi there! I’m Rachel Shipley, a Registered Dietitian with a Master’s degree in Nutrition. My journey into this field began in college when I faced my own challenges with gastrointestinal symptoms that impacted my daily life. Through trial and error with dietary changes, I discovered how transformative nutrition could be, not just for myself but for others as well. This experience ignited my passion for helping individuals reach their health goals through thoughtful nutrition.

In my practice, I focus on women’s health, specifically fertility, prenatal, and postpartum nutrition. Additionally, I work with parents of infants, assisting with everything from formula feeding to transitioning to solids and addressing food allergies. I help clients who are striving for a healthy pregnancy, navigating nausea and other pregnancy-related symptoms while ensuring they still enjoy nutrient-dense foods. I’m also dedicated to supporting postpartum women as they heal and recover, guiding them in resuming physical activity and maintaining a strong milk supply for breastfeeding.

My approach to care is all about empathy and collaboration. I believe in being a supportive teammate, guiding you through your nutrition journey with clear direction and practical strategies that are tailored to your unique needs. In our initial sessions, we will dive into your specific challenges and goals, allowing us to create a realistic, individualized plan with measurable progress.

With over eight years of experience and the privilege of helping thousands of individuals, I am excited to partner with you on your health journey. When I’m not working, I enjoy being a mom, camping with my family, and getting lost in gardening and painting. Let’s work together to achieve your health goals!
