My path to becoming a registered dietitian started with my athletic background and obsession to fuel by body optimally to perfrom in the gym and on the field. Going into the field of nutrition allowed me to combine my interest in strength and conditioning/ training athletes and teaching them how to fuel adequately to perform at their highest potential.

My specialties include sports nutrition, thinking about how to optimize nutrient timing around training and competitions, recovery, nutrition around injuries and supplementation. Eating disordered/disordered eating, as its prevalence in the athlete population is high, however I also enjoy working with general population to allow them to regain their food freedom and intuitive eating ability. Working in University dining my focus is with the students with food allergies, GI and food sensitivity and helping them navigating eating on campus.

I am originally from Trinidad and Tobago and love to cook and try all kinds of ethnic and international cusines and educating on how to incorportate traditional foods into a healthy diet. I love spending time outdoors, at the beach, hiking and exploring new places.
