About Me

Samantha Gerbine, PhD(c), MS, RD, LD

Samantha’s interest in nutrition began during her undergraduate studies, where she became fascinated by the powerful impact of food on health. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Texas State University and a Master’s in Nutrition and Dietetics from Baylor University. She is completing her PhD in Public Health at the University of Louisville.

Samantha provides nutrition counseling for various conditions, including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, weight management, sports nutrition, and general wellness and disease prevention. She has a special interest in holistic nutrition and takes an open-minded, nonjudgmental approach to care. She believes everyone deserves personalized, compassionate nutritional support and sees food as nourishment and a meaningful part of life and culture.

Outside her professional role, Samantha is married and a proud mom to three sons, four dogs, a cat, and two reptiles. She enjoys watching her children’s sports, running, hiking, and reading (when she has time).
