About Me
Sara’s passion for nutrition began in 2012 when she worked at a summer camp and cared for a camper with Type 1 Diabetes. This experience introduced her to the medical side of nutrition and sparked her desire to help others through food and lifestyle choices. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Michigan State University and completed her dietetic internship at Harper University Hospital – Detroit Medical Center.
With extensive training in Medical Nutrition Therapy, Sara supports clients managing a range of conditions, including cardiovascular disease, kidney disease, weight management, and overall wellness. Having navigated her own health journey, she has a special passion for gluten-free and other personalized diets that help individuals feel their best. Her firsthand experience allows her to connect with clients on a personal level, offering empathy, understanding, and realistic solutions.
Sara believes nutrition should be practical and approachable. She simplifies complex nutrition science into relatable analogies, making it easier for clients to apply in their daily lives. She enjoys cooking, exploring different grocery stores and farmers' markets, and discovering new ways to make healthy eating effortless and enjoyable.
