About Me
Sarah obtained her bachelor's degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2016. She then completed her dietetic internship at the same university under the Individual Supervised Practice Pathway program in 2017. Shortly after completing her internship, she passed her board exam to become a dietitian and started practicing in the beginning of 2018.
Sarah started her career as a clinical dietitian in the hospital setting where she provided nutrition education and nutrition support to patients with a variety of health conditions (heart disease, diabetes, kidney disease, cancer and more). After working 5 years at the hospital, she transitioned to working with patients on dialysis where she has been working as a full time renal dietitian for almost 1 year. However, she has always had a desire to work with individuals on disease prevention and helping them make lifestyle changes that are sustainable and enjoyable. She is a strong believer that you can have your cake and eat it too! Sarah will help facilitate goal setting that is important to YOU while addressing barriers along the way.
On her free time, Sarah enjoys activities such as spending time with her husband and 3 french bulldogs, watching dramas, playing video games, strength training, hiking and finding new brunch places to try!
