Stephen grew up on the East Coast but has spent many years in the Bay Area completing his medical training. He completed medical school in New England at Dartmouth and then moved to San Francisco where he pursued internal medicine residency and infectious diseases fellowship at UCSF. He is board certified in internal medicine and completed additional training in obesity medicine through Columbia and Cornell and is currently pursuing board certification in obesity medicine. He has a passion for working with marginalized communities and is excited by ongoing advancements in the fields of obesity medicine and infectious diseases and how these will improve the lives of patients in the coming years.
