About

Sydney’s interest in nutrition was sparked at a young age as a competitive gymnast. As a young girl, she was lead to learn about fueling her body in order to improve her performance in the sport that she loved. All while balancing school and a busy practice schedule, her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and started to undergo many treatments to fight the illness. Sydney watched as her mom struggled to eat during chemotherapy, as her diet was restricted from medications, and as she found new ways to improve her treatment through specific nutrients. This opened a completely new side of nutrition to Sydney that she had never seen before, let alone watched her biggest role model experience first hand. From that time on, Sydney wanted to learn everything about nutrition and Medical Nutrition Therapy so she could help others who felt how her mom did.

Sydney studied at Youngstown State University and graduated in 2024 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, and again in 2025 with her Master’s Degree in Public Health. She passed her exam to become a Registered Dietition shortly after and has been working as a dietitian in the acute clinical nutrition space and in nutrition counseling since. Sydney hopes that the life experiences that have led her to this career can be used to help others feel healthier and enjoy life more each day.

In her free time, Sydney enjoys teaching pilates, taking fitness and yoga classes, walking and running on the bike trail, doing her nails, and spending time with her friends and family (especially at the lake).
