About
My name is Tessa S. Mah, MS, RD, CD-N, and I have spent nearly two decades dedicated to the field of food and nutrition, helping people live healthier, more balanced lives. My career began after earning my Bachelor of Science in Health Science with a Nutrition option from Keene State College, followed by completing my Dietetic Internship and a Master of Science in Food and Nutrition at the University of Saint Joseph. Since then, I’ve worked as a clinical and consultant dietitian in hospitals, long-term care, assisted living, and corporate wellness settings, giving me the opportunity to impact individuals at all stages of life and health.
Over the years, I’ve specialized in a variety of areas, including medical nutrition therapy, weight management, and sports nutrition. One of the most meaningful chapters of my career was serving as a dietitian for the Central Connecticut Cystic Fibrosis Center, where I developed assessment tools and supported patients through individualized counseling. I also love teaching and sharing knowledge, whether through “Lunch and Learn” programs, university lectures, or hands-on cooking demonstrations. No matter the setting, my goal is the same: to help people feel empowered and confident in making choices that support their well-being.
At the heart of everything I do—whether working with patients, running a marathon, coaching kids, or preparing dinner for my family—is the same mission: helping people find balance between health, family, and the demands of everyday life, while still enjoying the simple joys of good food and movement.
