About Me
As a dietitian, Valerie feels fortunate to be able to help people with various health conditions. Assisting people with weight management, blood sugar and pressure, digestive issues, and more. She believes our lifestyle significantly influences our health and that each day and every meal is another opportunity to impact our health--for better or worse.
Valerie treats people as individuals and understands the need for unique plans. Eating well includes treats and foods from your background and culture. Eating healthily means consuming a wide variety of whole foods such as beans, rice, vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and lean proteins. Changing how you eat shouldn't be about deprivation but strategy. Once you approach your meals with intention and strategy, you can truly change your life--and health. Valerie genuinely enjoys helping people make those changes while keeping them realistic and sustainable—changes you can sustain for a lifetime.
Valerie graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Idaho, cum laude.
