About Me

Whitney’s interest in nutrition started with her own experiences navigating food rules, guilt, and the pressure to eat 'perfectly.' After struggling with restrictive eating and body image from a young age, she eventually discovered a more sustainable, flexible approach that prioritized nourishment and health over control. Her personal journey inspired her to pursue a career in dietetics, where she helps others build a confident, more stress-free relationship with food.

Her training in dietetics and nutrition allows her to support clients with a variety of health conditions, as well as those looking to improve their overall well-being. She is especially passionate about helping people who feel stuck in food rules—whether they’re unsure how to eat without them or struggling to follow a prescribed diet for a health condition. She helps clients reframe and redefine their relationship with food so they can eat with confidence and competence in a way that feels good and supports their health.

Whitney believes that all people deserve compassionate, evidence-based nutrition care and practices with a non-diet, weight-inclusive approach. She enjoys helping each client find their own path to food freedom—one that honors both nourishment and enjoyment without guilt or rigid rules.

Whitney graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Hanover College and earned her Master of Science in Food Science and Nutrition from Colorado State University (CSU). She then completed her dietetic internship through CSU's Coordinated Master's Program and has trained in Ellyn Satter's Eating Competence model. She's passionate about helping people transform their relationship with food and eating so they can feel good and spend their precious time and energy on all those things that matter most to them. Outside of work, you can find Whitney teaching fitness classes at her local gym, training in self-defense, spending time in nature, or curling up with a good book.
