Dr. Blackwell has spent two decades in medicine. He is double board certified in emergency medicine and obesity medicine. He has worked in every single corner of healthcare, from the ICU to the ER to outpatient clinics, the non-clinical side of medicine and telemedicine, et cetera.

He has a very broad and deep base of experience and is very passionate about weight loss and metabolic health. He has also been a patient and understands firsthand the frustrations and issues that go along with being a weight loss patient and using GLP-1 medications.
