About

I first gained my passion for nutrition as a competitive tennis player in high school. I learned the importance of eating properly to fuel my performance but I only had the internet to rely on, which unfortunately had a lot of misinformation. Luckily I found that I could study nutrition in college and be the dietitian my athlete friends and I didn't have throughout adolescence or even college. I received my B.S. in clinical nutrition at UC Davis and went on to receive my M.S. in nutritional sciences from Rutgers University. I was also a D1 tennis player for both schools, so I am incredibly passionate about sports nutrition for all athletes and deeply knowledgable about sports nutrition for tennis/pickleball players specifically!

I have also been vegan for the past 7 years, so I know how to help the average vegan/vegetarian person and/or athlete eat well to support their health and performance. I also really emphasize a combination of intuitive eating and sports nutrition for my clients, because food restriction can make not only meal times difficult, but can also make one's sport performance suffer.
