About
Amanda has nearly 20 years of experience in the Healthcare Industry. She has worked for non-profit healthcare organizations in quality improvement, program development and management, administration, nutrition, wellness, and practice management.
Amanda’s interest in nutrition started in 1996 after being diagnosed with Sjogren’s disease at a young age (and trying to navigate school, friends, sports and health issues). Her training in Medical Nutrition Therapy can support clients with a variety of conditions such as (chronic illness, autoimmune disease, mental health, fatigue, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, men’s and women’s health) and disease prevention/wellness. Amanda has additional passion for the areas of mental health, autoimmune disease and GLP-1 use.
Amanda believes that all people deserve evidence-based personalized nutritional care and practices with a “meet you where you are at” type approach. She feels that nutrition should not be rigid, is “not a one size fits all” and every client is unique. Amanda thoroughly enjoys personalized nutrition care that comes from evidence-based science.
Amanda graduated with both a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and a Master of Science in Nutrition Science from University of North Dakota (where she currently works part-time as an instructor in the department of Nutrition & Dietetics)!
Amanda enjoys her Peloton (rowing, cycling, weightlifting), kayaking outdoors, going to Broadway musicals/plays, concerts, watching hockey, and spending time with her husband and senior dogs.
