About

Anastasia Dosov is a Certified Nutrition Specialist and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist with a master’s degree in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine. Her interest in digestive health became deeply personal through supporting her husband during his experience with ulcerative colitis. Seeing how profoundly gastrointestinal health can affect energy, immune function, mood, food tolerance, and quality of life inspired her to focus her clinical work on the gut microbiome and its connections with chronic health concerns.

Anastasia works with clients experiencing digestive symptoms, microbiome imbalances, metabolic concerns, autoimmune-related nutrition challenges, and skin conditions that may be influenced by gastrointestinal and inflammatory factors. Her approach is clinically oriented, evidence-informed, and highly individualized. She takes time to understand each client’s health history, symptoms, nutrition, lifestyle, and previous testing rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all protocol. When appropriate, she may also incorporate functional laboratory testing to help identify nutritional, digestive, and metabolic factors that warrant closer attention.

Anastasia believes that clients deserve to understand the reasoning behind their care. She emphasizes education, collaboration, and realistic recommendations that can be integrated into everyday life. Her goal is to help clients recognize patterns, address contributing factors, and build sustainable nutrition and lifestyle practices without unnecessary restriction or perfectionism.

She earned her Master of Science in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine from the University of Western States and completed advanced training through the Institute for Functional Medicine’s Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice program. She also contributes to clinical education and nutrition research. Anastasia speaks English and Russian and has lived in several countries, including Russia, Japan, and India, which has shaped her appreciation for different cultures, foods, and approaches to health. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys spending time with her family, dancing samba, exercising, gardening, and caring for her chickens.
