About Me

Andrea’s passion to become a dietitian started with her own struggles after developing several food sensitivities. By learning how to help herself, she became equipped to help others. During her previous experience working as a public health nutritionist for the WIC program she developed a deep interest in women and children’s health. Her experience and training in Medical Nutrition Therapy can support clients with a variety of conditions such as infertility, PCOS, food sensitivities, diabetes, pre and post natal, and pediatric nutrition with an emphasis on ADHD and Autism.

Andrea’s practice is anchored in core values that shape every interaction. She has adopted a holistic approach, addressing health from a comprehensive perspective that encompasses mind, body, and spirit. She favors natural solutions that enhance the body’s innate healing abilities, complementing traditional medicine where appropriate. Her client-centered focus means tailoring her services to align with her client’s unique culture, desires, needs, and goals. She has faith in the body’s inherent capacity for health and healing, guided by a greater power that fosters natural balance.

Andrea graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition (with a minor in Microbiology) and Dietetics from the University of Hawaii where she also completed a Master’s Degree in Nutrition Science. This formal education is complemented by extensive experience as a certified yoga instructor, licensed massage therapist, Reiki Master, artist, and global traveler, I bring a unique perspective to health and wellness.

Andrea enjoys surfing, hiking, reading, writing, listening to podcasts and creating art.
