About Me

Andrea Krenek is a registered dietitian, chef, and scientist who values focusing on many aspects of health for sustainable, individualized, and enjoyable nutrition and lifestyle behaviors. With a background in personalized nutrition counseling, she loves to support a variety of areas, including plant-based nutrition for every life stage, cardiovascular and other chronic disease prevention and management, pediatric nutrition, women's health, and culinary nutrition/medicine - blending the science behind delicious and healthful meals, without food taking up all of your thoughts and time.

After receiving her Bachelor of Science degrees in Nutrition and in Kinesiology at Texas A&M University as well as culinary training, she completed her dietetic training through The Ohio State University. She subsequently completed her doctorate in Nutritional Sciences at University of Florida with a focus on cardiovascular and pediatric health and has worked on multiple nutrition research studies at the National Institutes of Health. As a postdoctoral scientist at Stanford University, she values staying up to date with lifestyle research while aiming to make nutrition simple and fun.
