About Me

Bailey's interest in nutrition started back in high school where she participated in multiple sports and realized her dietary patterns were negatively affecting her performance. She did not know any different growing up in a lower income household where she and her family relied mostly on fast food and ready-to-eat meals. After hours of research and reading, she realized how passionate she had become about food, nutrition and the impact it has on our health and well-being.

Bailey completed her undergraduate degree in nutritional sciences obtaining a BS in Nutrition and Dietetics from Michigan State University in 2015. She went on to complete her dietetic internship at Beaumont Health, the largest hospital system in Michigan.

After passing her board exam and obtaining her RDN licensure, she was quickly hired as a clinical dietitian at Beaumont Health. Her medical nutrition therapy training (MNT) was extensive and well-rounded preparing Bailey to comfortably work with a variety of different conditions and disease states such as diabetes (type 1, type 2, and gestational), CKD, liver disease, gastrointestinal disorders, food allergies, bariatric surgery, perinatal nutrition and those looking to maintain their overall health/wellness.

Bailey's nutritional approach is highly individualized as she does not believe in a "one-size fits all" model. She believes in eating whole foods and not overly restricting the things we enjoy but including them intentionally and in moderation.
