About Me

Breanna’s love for nutrition started back in college where she realized her courses were missing something big—how food and health are connected. Her passion for gut health, substance recovery, mental health, and food motivated her to get her PhD in Nutritional Sciences and become a Registered Dietitian.

She is a great listener and loves coming up with creative solutions to help her clients reach their goals. She has spent three years working with dietitians who specialize in intuitive eating and disordered eating; teaching her how to create a safe space where clients feel supported. Additionally, she has a passion for helping people in all sorts of recovery and views nutrition as a crucial tool to get there.

Breanna knows firsthand how hard it can be to feel good about your body and your relationship with food. She’s been through struggles with body image and disordered eating herself, so she truly gets it. Now, she’s in a place of recovery and freedom—and she’s passionate about helping others get there too. It *is* possible to enjoy food without guilt (yes, even cake!) and feel good inside and out.

When Breanna isn’t working with clients or doing research, you can find her cooking up something delicious at home, going to a workout or yoga classes, running or walking outside, hanging out with her cat Kimchi, or trying her hand at watercolor painting.

Education & Credentials: Breanna earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry with Honors from the University of Massachusetts Boston in 2019; in 2024 she completed her PhD in Nutritional Sciences and became a Registered Dietitian at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Now based in the Twin Cities, she works as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Minnesota studying the connection between nutrition and the gut microbiome while also seeing patients through her private practice.

If you’re looking for someone who truly understands what it’s like to navigate food struggles—and who can help you build a healthier relationship with food—Breanna is here for you!
