About

Casey's nutritional journey began as a swimmer in high school when she discovered how food fuels the body. Her passion for learning more about fueling the body and using food as medicine led her to become a Registered Dietitian. She has a passion for helping others and loves how nutrition is woven into many parts of life. She believes in creating a judgement free environment, meeting her clients where they are, learning "what is your why?" From there, with her "all foods can fit" approach, she and her client can work together to develop a plan that is unique and individualized. Casey's area of focus includes: diabetes, pre-diabetes, cardiovascular disease, lipid management, gastrointestinal disorders, pre- and post-operative bowel surgeries, weight management, intuitive eating, chronic kidney disease, auto-immune, malnutrition, and general well-being.

Casey believes nutrition does not have to be complicated and loves when her clients have that "ah-ha" moment. She has a conversational, motivating style that is practical and engaging. She works as a partner with her clients to identify strategies, adjusting and aligning / re-aligning when needed.

Casey graduated from East Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics and a Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition.

Outside of her professional life, she enjoys staying active and finding balance through hobbies that bring her joy. She is an avid runner, enjoys a good book, has a passion for experimenting with new recipes, and spending time with her family, including her 2 Frenchies.
