About Me

Danielle’s interest in nutrition developed during high school when she struggled with her weight and wanted to become a healthier version of herself. After being successful at losing weight in a healthy way, others began to ask her for nutrition advice so that they could also make similar changes. It was then that she realized how important nutrition was to her and to others, and she wanted to continue to help people improve their health overall.

Danielle has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition with a minor in Psychology from Syracuse University. She then went on to complete her Dietetic Internship and Master of Science degree in Nutrition at Marywood University. Since graduating, she has participated in many opportunities to further expand her nutrition knowledge and skills, including completing a Certificate of Training in Adult Weight Management.

Danielle started her career working in a hospital where she gained a lot of general nutrition experience for a variety of chronic illnesses and conditions. She has worked in several acute care units, including intensive care, oncology, general medical/surgical, and behavioral health. A couple of years ago, she decided to transition to a more specific area of nutrition and is now a renal dietitian that works with individuals with chronic kidney disease. Although she enjoys working in this setting, she has a passion for nutrition counseling in general and continues to help individuals with other medical conditions achieve success with their personal nutrition goals. Danielle has an empathetic and compassionate nature that provides a safe environment for those she counsels. Her mission is to empower her clients to take charge of their health and provide them with the tools for long-lasting success.

In her free time, Danielle enjoys taking Orange Theory Fitness classes and going for long walks in her local park. She also loves spending time with her dog Bruno and spoils him daily with many treats and toys!
