About

Disha N. Joshi, MS, RDN,LD

Disha Joshi’s passion for nutrition began with her deep interest in the connection between food, culture, and long-term health. Growing up in a culture where food was always seen as both nourishment and medicine, she became fascinated with how everyday food choices can prevent disease and support overall well-being. With over 15 years of experience in the field of nutrition, Disha enjoys helping individuals understand how small, sustainable changes in their eating habits can have a powerful impact on their health.

As a Registered Dietitian with training in Medical Nutrition Therapy, Disha supports clients managing conditions such as Type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, weight management, PCOS, and digestive concerns, while also focusing on disease prevention and long-term wellness. She has a special passion for metabolic health, preventive nutrition, and helping clients reconnect with culturally familiar foods in a balanced and nourishing way. She particularly enjoys working with individuals who want to improve their health through practical, realistic nutrition strategies that fit into their everyday lives.

Disha believes that everyone deserves compassionate, personalized nutrition care. Her approach combines evidence-based nutrition with a holistic perspective on health. She views health as a state of balance, not just the absence of disease and often incorporates the principles of mindful eating, lifestyle habits, and stress management into her counseling. Disha loves helping clients build a positive relationship with food while finding an approach that feels sustainable and empowering for them.

Disha earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics and completed her Master’s degree in Nutrition from Florida International University. She is also an Ayurveda Health Counselor, which further informs her holistic perspective on food, digestion, and lifestyle balance.

Outside of her professional work, Disha enjoys cooking healthy meals, exploring new wellness ideas, spending time with her family, and staying active. She also enjoys sharing nutrition knowledge through education and community engagement, with the goal of helping more people experience the benefits of nourishing their bodies through food.
