About Me
Ellie Osorno is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist, and physician from Mexico. She earned her medical degree in Mexico and later completed her Master’s degree in Nutrition at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Ellie specializes in helping Latinas and women manage PCOS, hormonal imbalances, weight loss, blood sugar struggles, and digestive health, all without restrictive diets or sacrificing their cultural foods. With her unique background in both medicine and nutrition, Ellie combines evidence-based strategies with real-life flexibility, helping patients create sustainable habits that honor their traditions, their schedules, and their long-term health goals.
Her professional philosophy is rooted in making health feel realistic, empowering, and joyful, not overwhelming or rigid. Ellie believes that true wellness comes from a balance of nutrition, movement, stress management, cultural connection, and self-confidence.
Outside of her work, Ellie loves rollerskating and biking by Chicago’s lakeshore, exploring new foods, traveling, yoga, and spending cozy nights at home watching TV shows and movies. She also proudly holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, which she earned when she was ten years old.
Ellie provides care in both English and Spanish, making her services accessible to a diverse community of patients.
