About Me

Ellen is a registered dietitian specializing in digestive conditions including IBS, IBD, GERD, Chron's, Celiac, food intolerance, and autoimmune conditions.

Ellen has over 10 years of education and experience in nutrition and the health sciences. She has completed both clinical and holistic-based training, making her a thoroughly well-rounded provider. She has a professional level of understanding and competency in evidence-based practice while also staying at the forefront of holistic nutrition research and practice.

Ellen was diagnosed with IBS at an early age and experienced a host of digestive complications that were a catalyst for fueling her professional career. She is extremely passionate about the connection between the gut microbiome and the health and functionality of the human body. She addresses symptoms at the root cause and works with patients to create custom nutrition plans that will support their digestive health and overall well-being. She is a food-first clinician

Ellen strives to help her patients foster positive relationships with food and nutrition in her practice. Food is a huge part of culture, life, and happiness. She is adamant that feeling well, achieving our goals, and enjoying our favorite foods is possible.

Lastly, she enjoys spending time gardening and growing food for her family and community at her home. She can be found planting, making bread, fermenting, and spending time outdoors when she is not with patients.
