About

Emily is a Registered Dietitian and holds a master's degree in Nutrition from Metropolitan State University of Denver. Her path to this work started long before grad school, with a genuine love of growing, cooking, and sharing food with the people she loves (or, honestly, shamelessly enjoying it solo on the couch).

That love of food is part of what drew her to this field, but so did frustration. She became an RD because she wanted to help people cut through the noise of fad diets, conflicting nutrition trends, and unnecessary supplements, and find an approach to eating that actually fits their life.

Her treatment philosophy centers on balance and moderation. She considers herself an anti-diet dietitian: her goal isn't to hand you a rigid meal plan, but to help you build a sustainable, realistic relationship with food. She stays current on the latest nutrition research so you don't have to, and can help you make sense of the often-murky world of nutrition products and supplements; separating what's actually useful from what's just marketing.

Clinically, her background includes working with patients preparing for and recovering from bariatric surgery, individuals managing GI conditions like IBD and IBS, and people who simply want to feel, sleep, and live better. If you work with her, you can expect to feel heard, supported, and challenged in the best sense. You'll be held accountable to the goals you set together at a pace that respects where you're starting from.
