About Me

Emily's area of nutrition has expanded over the past 12 years. She began her career in nutrition working with Adults with Cardiovascular Disease, Diabetes and Gastrointestinal Disease. She then changed positions to focus on Weight Management and Bariatric Surgery. She next focused on Pediatric Nutrition, specifically patient's with gastrointestinal disease. Emily has enjoyed working with families and children of all ages to provide excellent nutrition therapy and education. Emily's training in Medical Nutrition Therapy can support clients with a variety of conditions such as Gastrointestinal Disease (constipation, Diarrhea, Crohn's Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, IBS, Food Allergies and Intolerance), Tube Feedings and IV Nutrition Therapy, Weight Management (for underweight, overweight individuals) Heart Disease (problems with blood pressure and cholesterol) and Diabetes (including Type 1, Type 2 and Pre-Diabetes) with a focus on disease prevention and wellness. Emily has addition passion for area of post partum nutrition, breast feeding nutrition and support, pediatric nutrition and enteral/parenteral nutrition.

Emily believes that all people deserve nutritional care and practices with a HAES informed approach. She feels proud when her clients find their individual paths to food wellness and freedom.

Emily graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from The University of Delaware. She has returned as a guest speaker to Dietetic Interns throughout the years. In her free time, Emily enjoys a sunny day at the beach, running races from 5k to Marathons and spending time with her children.
