About
Hi there! I’m Emily Simmons, a Registered Dietitian with a Master’s degree in Health and Human Performance. My passion for this work stems from a deep desire to help others develop a healthier relationship with food and their bodies. I believe that dismantling diet culture is essential to fostering a positive mindset around eating, and I strive to create a non-judgmental space where everyone feels welcome and supported in their journey.
I work with a variety of clients, including those seeking general healthy eating guidance, individuals pursuing healthy weight loss, women facing challenges with PCOS, and pregnant or postpartum women. Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed by conflicting nutrition advice or struggling with disordered eating patterns. Together, we focus on intuitive eating and building a sustainable, balanced approach to nourishment.
My care approach is evidence-based and compassionate, ensuring that every client feels heard and understood. In our early sessions, we’ll explore your unique relationship with food and what it means to you. Over time, I aim to provide clarity and encouragement, helping you establish realistic nutrition habits that align with your lifestyle and goals.
Throughout the journey, my hope is to empower you to feel more confident in your choices and cultivate a sense of peace with food that positively impacts all aspects of your life. I hold my credentials as an MS and RDN and I’m excited to partner with you on this transformative path. When I’m not working, you can find me enjoying time with my family, working out, baking fun treats, or traveling to new places.
