About

Gladys Alicea’s interest in nutrition began with a deep curiosity about how food interacts with the body and how hormones and metabolism influence overall health and quality of life—especially for individuals who struggle with weight changes and chronic symptoms despite “doing everything right.” Her training in Medical Nutrition Therapy allows her to support clients with a wide range of conditions, including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, metabolic disorders, hormonal imbalances, and digestive conditions, while also emphasizing disease prevention and long-term wellness. She has a particular passion for women’s hormonal health, weight management, and endocrine disorders, and enjoys helping clients uncover the root causes of their symptoms and regain confidence in their bodies.

Gladys believes that everyone deserves access to compassionate, individualized nutrition care. She practices with a root-cause, patient-centered approach and enjoys helping each client find a sustainable path toward food freedom, improved health, and lasting results—without restriction or judgment.

Gladys earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Kaplan University and completed a Master’s degree from Sonoran University of Health Sciences, followed by advanced clinical training and board certification as a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS).

Outside of her clinical work, Gladys enjoys creating healthy meals, running, weight lifting, continuing education, wellness advocacy, and connecting with others who share a passion for holistic health.

Languages spoken: English and Spanish.
