Hi, I’m Jessica Ashton, a Registered Dietitian with a Master’s in Nutrition Science from Brigham Young University. My own journey with food has shaped my desire to help others navigate the often confusing landscape of nutrition. I understand firsthand how overwhelming it can be, and I’m passionate about guiding individuals toward a more positive experience with food.
I work primarily with adults seeking support with weight management, people trying to improve their overall health, people navigating gut issues, and athletes looking to enhance their performance and adults seeking support with weight management. Many of my clients come to me feeling lost or frustrated by the multitude of dietary advice available. Together, we explore intuitive eating principles while also focusing on practical strategies that fit their lifestyles.
My approach is grounded in empathy and simplicity. I believe that nourishing your body doesn’t have to involve strict rules or eliminating the foods you love. In our initial sessions, we’ll discuss your personal goals and challenges. Over time, my aim is to help you gain confidence in your food choices, understand what to eat and when, and ultimately cultivate a harmonious relationship with food.
As you embark on this journey with me, expect to find peace of mind in your nutritional decisions. I’m here to support you every step of the way, whether it’s through meal planning or addressing emotional eating. When I’m not in the office, you’ll find me playing or watching basketball, spending quality time with my family, or enjoying some chocolate chip cookies. I look forward to working together!
