About
Hi there, I’m Jessica O'Hara-Anderson, a Licensed dietitian and Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) who's passionate about helping women unlock the power of food as medicine. As a healthcare provider, I've witnessed firsthand the transformative impact of nutrition on overall well-being, and I'm committed to sharing this knowledge with my clients. I became a dietitian because I want to empower women to take control of their health, particularly in the face of peri/menopause where conditions such as weight gain, insulin resistance, Osteoporosis, Hormone imbalance, PCOS, and interstitial cystitis, tend to start affecting our lives. For me, nutrition is not just about what we eat, but about how we eat (timing does matter :)– in a way that honors our unique needs, preferences, and lifestyles. I work closely with my clients to identify areas of imbalance and develop personalized plans that address maco/micronutrient deficiencies, hormonal imbalances, and current symptoms. Plus, I offer personalized GLP-1 support to combat malnutrition that can be an effect that comes with reduction of appetite. My approach is founded on active listening, compassion, and evidence-based practices, with a focus on lab testing, food diaries, and genetic insights. I believe that every individual deserves to feel confident, informed, and empowered in their food choices. In our first sessions, we'll explore your relationship with food and identify the habits and mindset shifts that will help you thrive. Together, we'll work toward upgrading your food habits, increasing nutrient density, and reducing chronic disease risk. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel supported, motivated, and equipped to make lasting changes. With my guidance, you can expect to develop a deeper understanding of your body's needs, cultivate healthy habits, and experience the freedom to enjoy food without guilt or restriction. I'd love to walk this journey with you!
