About

Hi! I’m Julie Cole, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and founder of J. Cole Nutrition. My work is rooted in a simple belief: nutrition matters, and it should help you live more fully, not make your world smaller.

My background in nutrition and the culinary arts has shaped the way I work with food from the beginning. I care about what we eat, how it supports the body, and how it makes us feel. I also care about helping food feel less overwhelming, less restrictive, and more like something that can expand your life.

For many of my clients, food has become complicated. There may be fear, digestive symptoms, nutrient deficiencies, health concerns, or years of trying to figure out what they are “supposed” to eat. I’m naturally curious about why something is happening, not just how to make the symptom go away. I love digging deeper, asking questions, and finding the pieces that may have been overlooked.

Sometimes the answer is nutritional. Sometimes it is physiological. Sometimes it is about your relationship with food. Often, it is a combination.

My own health experiences led me deeper into functional nutrition and taught me the value of looking at the whole picture. When appropriate, I use labs, functional testing, and targeted supplementation to better understand what may be happening in the body and create a more individualized approach.

I also believe healing is about more than what is happening physically. Becoming a Reiki Master and discovering Human Design expanded the way I understand the connection between the body, nervous system, intuition, energy, and the way each of us moves through the world. I now offer Reiki and Human Design as separate services or weave them into nutrition work when they are supportive.

There is no single formula for eating well or feeling well. My goal is to help you understand your body, feel more confident in the choices you make, and have access to both the science and the support you need to care for yourself in a way that actually feels like you.
