About Me

Kate's inspiration to become a dietitian was quite wholesome. She loved making lists as a young girl, and it was her favorite activity of the week to get everyone in her family's donut order. After suffering from an eating disorder in her teen years, she decided to use her love of listmaking and food selections, along with her personal experience, to help people repair their relationship with food. She believes that everyone deserves to live in a world where food is fun.

Kate is a seasoned dietitian with over ten years of experience. She is a certified eating disorder specialist and consultant (a high distinction that allows her to provide mentorship to other practitioners in the field). She is also a certified intuitive eating counselor and has completed advanced training in motivational interviewing, body image, and ARFID.

Throughout her career, Kate has had the pleasure of working at treatment facilities throughout the nation. She was highly involved in the development of numerous treatment programs, including those for binge eating disorder and individuals with eating disorders and co-occurring diabetes. She has collaborated with top leaders in the research on exercise and eating disorders and is highly skilled in helping clients develop a joyful relationship with movement throughout their healing journey. She is well-known for helping clients who have tried many forms of treatment before and feel stuck or hopeless. She is never afraid to try something outside the box.

Kate graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition-Dietetics from Winthrop University and completed a Master's Degree in Business Administration - Healthcare Management from Fitchburg State University.

Kate loves aliens and dinosaurs. Her favorite foods are French toast, chicken pesto paninis, and Pop-Tarts. She enjoys traveling the world and is always planning her next trip.
