About Me
Kate's passion for health and nutrition began early in college when she discovered the profound impact that food and lifestyle choices can have on overall well-being. She realized that many people struggle with health challenges that could be improved through a holistic approach—one that doesn’t rely on restrictive diets or quick fixes, but instead focuses on nourishing the body.
Kate's training in Medical Nutrition Therapy, Functional Nutrition, and Blood Chemistry allows her to support clients with a variety of conditions such as PCOS, thyroid disorders, and disease prevention/wellness. She has a particular interest in women's health, healing acne, and digestive issues.
She believes that everyone deserves personalized nutritional care that caters to their unique needs and goals. She is passionate about empowering clients and guiding them to a place of feeling confident in their ability to live a vibrant, healthy life.
Kate graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics. She has completed additional training through the Functional Nutrition Practitioner Institute and Next Level Functional Nutrition. She has also completed advanced training in blood chemistry interpretation and receives ongoing continuing education in women’s health, functional medicine, and functional nutrition through conferences and courses.
Kate enjoys cooking, watching sports, reading, daily walks, and spending time with her husband and 2 young children.
