About Me

Kathryn's interest in nutrition began in high school when, as a cheerleader, she wanted to lose weight. This led her to develop an unhealthy relationship with food and became obsessed with calorie counting. However, during college, her perspective changed as she discovered the powerful role nutrition plays in overall health and well-being. Through her own experiences with functional nutrition and supplementation later in life, Kathryn was able to heal her gut and clear up her eczema, inspiring her to help others do the same.

Kathryn's expertise in Medical Nutrition Therapy allows her to support clients with a wide range of conditions, including diabetes, heart disease, high cholesterol, and overall disease prevention and wellness. She has a particular passion for gut health and women’s hormonal health—areas in which she has seen remarkable improvements in her own life.

Kathryn believes food is not just fuel, but a powerful form of medicine. She believes our bodies are a gift and we are called to be good stewards of our health. Kathryn’s approach to health is holistic, focusing not only on what we eat, but also on how we care for our bodies and minds as a whole. She works with clients to develop personalized nutrition plans that support their unique goals, empowering them to take charge of their health and achieve lasting results.

Kathryn graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition and a Master’s Degree in Nutrition from the University of Alabama.

Kathryn loves spending time with her husband and their golden retriever, Remi. She enjoys visiting her family and nephews in Huntsville, AL, and is always up for an outdoor adventure. Whether it's lifting weights, exploring new workout classes, or walking her dog, she's passionate about staying active. Kathryn also loves experimenting with new recipes, trying out local restaurants, and cheering on the Tide!
