About Me
My interest in nutrition comes from knowing firsthand how difficult, but entirely possible it is to make lifestyle changes that improve quality of life.
I enjoy working with people as they foster a new and healthy relationship with food, whether to address disordered eating, a health condition like T2DM, or other nutrition needs. I also address finding easy health-promoting ingredient swaps that allow clients to keep their favorite foods while achieving their health goals.
My special Interests:
-Helping the neurodivergent population understand how brain chemistry may affect eating habits, appetite, and digestion.
-Trouble-shooting eating patterns for people with food allergies, MCAS, histamine sensitivity, other allergic diseases, and food fears stemming from past or existing food sensitivities.
I graduated from Arizona State University with a BS in Nutrition Science (Dietetics) and am a NASM-Certified Personal Trainer.
When I am not geeking out over nutrition, I read classic literature, cross-stitching, crocheting, or at the gym! Physical activity is an important part of the process, as is finding healthy and fun ways to manage stress!
