About Me
Kelsey’s interest in nutrition started in her youth when she became curious about where the food on her dinner plate came from. As she grew up, this curiosity evolved into a passion for food science and nutrition as medicine. She thoroughly enjoys her career of learning and sharing nutrition knowledge.
Kelsey has experience in hospitals, long term care, outpatient counseling, and community clinics helping patients navigate their nutrition needs through various illnesses and seasons of life. Her training in Medical Nutrition Therapy can support clients with diverse conditions such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease, as well as disease prevention and wellness. Kelsey has additional interest in the areas of pregnancy, pediatrics from birth to five years, and our aging population. She loves working with families and caregivers to truly get to know her clients over time and enjoys being part of their growth and progress.
Kelsey believes that all people deserve nutritional care and practices with a HAES informed approach. She feels that nutrition is not “one size fits all” and works to equip every client with the tools to build their own nourished lifestyle and prevent or manage chronic disease.
Kelsey graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from
Seattle Pacific University and completed her dietetic internship at California Polytechnic University. Kelsey enjoys softball, live music, church potlucks, making homemade pizza with her husband, and caring for her animals and land at her home in Texas.
