About Me
Lane’s interest in nutrition developed as she saw family and friends around her struggling with their chronic health conditions and she would expand her knowledge about nutrition to assist their disease management. Lane’s training in Medical Nutrition Therapy can support clients with a variety of conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, chronic kidney disease, cancer, gastrointestinal disorders, infertility, and disease prevention/wellness. After working in hospitals where many patients were chronically ill, she was inspired to provide earlier intervention and started working with pregnant women and children to help make an impact on the health of the next generation. Lane believes that all people deserve nutritional care and practices with a HAES informed approach. She feel that everyone deserves to feel motivated and empowered to take control of their own health and well-being.
Lane graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Integrative Biology from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana and received a second Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Eastern Illinois University. She completed her formal education with a Master’s Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Eastern Illinois University. Lane enjoys spending time learning new cooking techniques, painting, and being outside in nature.
